Three portraits. Three ways of being seen.
Presence is not always a matter of being seen. Sometimes it begins with a gaze, sometimes it retreats behind a gesture, and sometimes it turns inward.
States of Presence is a photographic triptych featuring Maja. Three images explore the subtle distance between visibility and intimacy — between the face we reveal and the part of ourselves that remains beyond another person's reach.
An open eye establishes contact. Hands and a flower conceal the face. A closed eye withdraws from the viewer. Together, the images form a quiet study of presence, vulnerability and the boundaries of looking.
Rather than telling a fixed story, the triptych leaves room for individual interpretation.
Maja: Stany obecności
Trzy portrety.
„Stany obecności” to tryptyk portretowy z Mają.
Dłonie i kwiat zasłaniają twarz. Zamknięte oko odwraca się od widza. Razem tworzą kameralne studium obecności, wrażliwości i granic patrzenia.
Zamiast opowiadać jednoznaczną historię, tryptyk pozostawia przestrzeń na indywidualną interpretację.
